Ian Tomlinson founded Tomlinson Computer Support in 2008, offering IT support to domestic customers while also working full time for the NHS. As the business grew, we shifted our focus to specialize in providing professional IT support for businesses. Over the past five years, our business has continued to expand and we now offer our services to customers throughout the UK and Europe.

We provide support for users of both Windows and Apple products and have many customers that have both systems setup within the same business.  We have years of experience with both platforms and can cover your requirements whatever your preference.

Hardware & Software Solutions

We provide a huge range of hardware solutions, from laptops, desktops, tablets and other peripherical.  We supply and maintain the equipment.  Hardware can even be dispatched directly to remote workers, fully configured so the end user can just get up and running straight away.

IT Disaster Planning & Recovery

Our role for disaster recovery is to risk assess various scenarios that could affect your business.  It is key to have a plan to ensure your business can continue to function in the event of hardware failure, cyber-attack, accidental/deliberate deletion of data and damage of equipment from fire/theft.

 

Our customers are encouraged to use services like Office 365 that puts their data in the cloud, meaning in the IT emergency we can get them back up and running instantly by just have access to an online based computer or smart device.  New systems can be connected again within hours rather than days.

Ian at Tomlinson Computer Support Ltd has been looking after our computer requirements for several years. He provides a high quality, good value, professional service and is quick to ensure any problems are fixed quickly. He also advises on "future proofing" ensuring that we are not left with equipment that is unable to support future developments in the computer industry that we may be unaware of. He is also very patient, as users we we don't always understand the complications of the computer world and Ian is excellent at explaining them and putting our minds at ease.
